Our next stop is Vienna, a city that feels like it was made for Christmas. From the iconic Rathausplatz market to cozy neighborhood stalls, Vienna wraps you in old-world charm and holiday warmth. Krems & Melk, Austria

Today brings us to the charming Wachau Valley, starting in Krems—known for its quaint streets, local crafts, and cozy holiday atmosphere—before we continue to the breathtaking Melk Abbey. Perched high above the river, this grand Benedictine monastery is even more stunning in winter, offering unforgettable views and a peaceful, festive glow. Together, Krems and Melk capture the beauty and serenity of Austria’s countryside at Christmastime, making this day a quiet but magical highlight of our journey.


Passau, Germany

Next, we arrive in Passau, the “City of Three Rivers,” where winding cobblestone streets, baroque architecture, and a charming Christmas market create a picture-perfect winter scene. Nestled at the meeting point of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz Rivers, Passau feels like stepping into a holiday postcard. Our journey continues in Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities and a true gem during the holiday season. Its narrow stone lanes, grand cathedral, and lively Christmas markets—especially the famous market at Thurn and Taxis Palace—create an atmosphere straight out of a winter fairy tale. With charming shops, festive lights, and rich history at every turn, Regensburg offers a magical blend of old-world beauty and Christmas cheer.


Nuremberg, Germany
Monday and Tuesday, December 21 and 22

We end our Christmastime journey in Nuremberg, home to one of the world’s most famous and beloved Christmas markets. The city comes alive with glowing lights, handcrafted ornaments, and the irresistible aromas of gingerbread and spiced mulled wine. Its medieval architecture and festive streets create a spectacular finale to our cruise, offering the perfect blend of history, charm, and true holiday magic.
